Traveling Through Japan
4th through 6th grade students will be exploring the world of Japanese art history and pop culture through hands-on art projects. They will delve into Japanese culture by designing original art works based on anime, manga, and traditional Japanese art styles.
Objectives
- Design creative and unique artwork
- Exploring a new place through art
- Gain an understanding and appreciation of Japanese pop culture and traditional art forms
Materials
Paper, watercolors, markers, printmaking supplies, mixed media supplies, and much more!

What a Wonderful World
Each week, students will explore the seven natural world wonders through a combination of natural science and interactive art projects including a mini volcano!
Objectives
Students will get the chance to practice teamwork, creative problem solving, communication, and hands on skills!
Materials
Recycled materials, paper, watercolor, markers, pastels, clay, acrylic paint, baking soda, dishsoap, vinegar

Back to the Future
Hop into our time machine to travel back to five different parts of history!
We will explore and create art of each time period we journey to!
Students will learn about the different artistic abilities used during the periods we travel to!
